About this artwork

A sweeping mountain landscape unfolds beneath curling clouds and shafts of golden sunlight. August Babberger’s expressionist composition contrasts cool blues and whites with earthy greens and ochres, while tiny figures and cattle bring scale to the valley. A vivid focal point for a living room, study, or creative space.
