About this artwork

A monumental blue horse fills a vivid, dreamlike scene of colorful houses, reclining figures, and other animals. Bold shapes and expressive color—blue, green, yellow, and rose—give this Franz Marc Expressionist work an imaginative, lively presence for an artful interior.
