About this artwork

This classic fine art print features a youthful male figure seated in a natural landscape setting against a cloudy sky. The subject is draped in fabric, holding a tall wooden staff with a small cross shape at the top, and points upward with one hand while gazing intently. In the lower background, a small group of distant figures gathers near a rocky ledge. The overall color palette utilizes earthy tones, soft browns, deep greens, and expressive blue and grey skies, rendered in a dramatic chiaroscuro style with visible brushwork and evocative lighting.
