About this artwork

An oil painting depicting a classical male figure kneeling beside a river in a lush, wooded landscape. The figure wears draped garments in muted beige and rich red, with a subtle halo around his head. He holds a tall wooden staff in one hand and points toward a distant figure standing atop a rocky path in the background. The surrounding environment features dense trees, rolling hills under a soft blue sky with clouds, and calm water reflecting the natural tones of the scenery.
