About this artwork

A tightly packed crowd gathers beneath broad, rippling bands of red, gold, and pale blue. Dark figures and a pale-faced woman stand out against the vivid sky, giving the scene a tense, dreamlike mood. Bold expressionist color and simplified forms make this striking print a focal point for contemporary interiors.
