About this artwork

A vivid, dreamlike composition unfolds against a deep, shadowy ground. A brightly dressed figure and stringed instrument anchor the left side, while a floating family, a small crowd, a goat, and fragments of a city fill the scene. Bold reds, blues, and yellows contrast with pale figures and loose, expressive marks. Its mysterious, poetic mood makes a striking focal point for an eclectic living room, study, or gallery wall.
