About this artwork

Angular figures gather around a dark, oval pool in this vivid bathing scene. Bold black contours, warm ochre skin tones, and striking fields of red, violet, and yellow create a lively Expressionist composition, with a small cat at the lower edge. Its graphic contrast and energetic marks bring a distinctive focal point to an artful interior.
