About this artwork

A reclining figure fills the foreground, rendered in bold, simplified shapes and expressive strokes. A second figure, leafy forms, and a dark vase appear behind her. Vivid yellow-green, rose, ochre, and deep blue create a vivid, intimate scene with a strong presence in contemporary interiors.
