About this artwork

A fallen tree fills the foreground of this vivid rural scene, with village houses and rounded green trees beneath a broad, cloud-streaked sky. Expressive dark outlines and lively patches of green, ochre, rust, and cream give the landscape a bold, animated presence. A striking choice for a living room, study, or gallery wall.
