About this artwork

A striking figurative composition associated with Henri Matisse, placing elongated, simply outlined figures among vivid green foliage and contrasting interior panels. Black contours, muted gray and blush tones, and a bold dark central band create a poised, expressive presence for a contemporary living space or art-filled study.
