About this artwork

A striking close-up portrait built from angular planes of color. Wide, watchful eyes and a firmly set mouth emerge from deep greens, warm reds, ochres, and violet, creating an intense, introspective presence. Its bold Expressionist character makes a vivid focal point in a contemporary living space, study, or gallery wall.
