About this artwork

A mounted figure holding a tall blue lance rises above a cluster of cream-colored horses. Broad, energetic strokes in rust red, navy, rose, and pale yellow create a lively, theatrical scene against a softly clouded blue-gray sky. Its expressive movement and rich color bring a striking focal point to a living room, study, or gallery wall.
