About this artwork

A loosely rendered figure reclines in an armchair, one leg extended and the other folded close. Deep violet upholstery and a green sweater stand out against a quiet, pale background. Expressive blue outlines and an informal pose give this modern portrait a thoughtful, candid mood, suited to a calm living space or reading corner.
