About this artwork

A poised figure holding a vivid red hibiscus stands against a dense, dreamlike landscape of oversized green leaves and blue passages. Two smaller figures recede into the background, while warm ochre and amber tones bring the portrait forward. Bold contours and expressive color give this image a vivid, contemplative presence suited to an eclectic living space or reading nook.
