About this artwork

Two closely gathered owls perch against a deep, shadowy background. A pale grey owl watches from behind while a larger tawny-brown owl fills the foreground, its feathers picked out in warm, painterly tones. The intimate composition and subdued palette bring a quiet, watchful mood to a study or living space.
