About this artwork

An oil painting depicting a classical interior or courtyard scene where three women are gathered. A central seated figure has long brown hair and blue drapery across her lap, while one attendant kneels to tend to her foot with a white cloth and another stands behind arranging her garment. In the background, ornate classical architecture with columns, arches, and distant figures under a pale sky completes the composition. The color palette features rich earthy tones, deep blues, and subdued greens.
