About this artwork

This dramatic fine art print depicts a biblical narrative scene featuring three figures gathered around a white-clothed dining table in a dimly lit, rustic interior. On the left, a long-haired man in a vibrant pink robe and dark blue cloak sits in profile, gazing upward while raising his right hand in a gesture of blessing. In the center, an older man with a short beard and brown tunic looks across the table with an expressive, weathered face. Seated in the foreground with his back partially turned, a third figure wearing a dark blue robe extends his arm outward over the table, which holds a simple bowl, a knife, and a piece of fruit. The composition utilizes deep chiaroscuro lighting to cast strong shadows and highlight the emotional expressions and hand gestures of the participants. The muted background and rich earthy color palette enhance the solemn and contemplative mood of the gathering.
